#1 (Little Devil) 1. Please introduce yourself first. Hello everyone, my name is 茶茗sou.
2. When did you start creating? Do you have any special stories to share with us? I've loved drawing since I was little, and sometimes I would try to copy characters from anime and manga. However, for various reasons, I became confused about life and gradually stopped drawing. In my free time outside of studying, I only found happiness through playing games.
During high school, I realized I needed to make a change; I couldn't continue drifting aimlessly like this. So, I started reflecting on what I used to do when there weren't so many entertainment options in my life. Ultimately, I remembered that it was drawing. After that, I picked up the brush again and worked hard with the hope of pursuing a related career in the future.
3. Please share the creative inspiration and process behind your Winter24 submission. I usually draw characters in an anime style, and since this time the theme specifically focused on anime, I created a little devil with white hair and red eyes.
4. For friends who enjoy your work, how can they find you? Currently, I'm known as 茶茗sou on all platforms, but I've only posted a few images on Bilibili and Weibo. I guess I'm just a bit lazy!
5. Is there anything else you would like to say to everyone? Thank you all for your support and appreciation of my work! I will work hard to overcome my "laziness" and create more art!
#2 (PWhite) 1. Congratulations on being selected again! For this submission, we noticed that "PWhite," "Pcute," and "PSweet" have distinct styles. Please share your creative concepts for this project with everyone. Both "Pcute" and "PSsweet" primarily use pink as the main color, but I originally intended to create both works with "white" as the main color. However, since I'm not very skilled at expressing white, I ended up abandoning that idea midway. This time, I decided to challenge myself again with "white." I believe this mousepad can blend well into a predominantly white desktop environment while also showcasing its presence.
2. How has your mindset changed between your third nomination and your first? Having been selected three times, I feel like I've achieved a milestone, and there's a sense of accomplishment in saying, "I did it."
3. Do you still engage in any comic-related creations? Since "Pcute," I've been grateful to receive many illustration commissions, which has made it difficult to work on comics. However, I've recently had some ideas and plan to resume comic creation around early next year.
4. Will you consider submitting themes outside of anime in the future? (This question was mentioned in the last visit, but your thoughts may have changed over time.) After this submission, I originally planned to temporarily end my entries in the anime category and shift to other areas. However, I feel I haven't yet created anything that surpasses "Pcute," and since I didn't win first place this time, I have a desire to continue challenging myself.
5. You have an increasing number of supporters; do you have any message for them? Thanks to VAXEE, my supporters have gradually increased, allowing me to engage in various activities over the past year. More and more people around me are using the mouse pads I designed. I deeply feel the warmth of everyone's support, and I am very grateful for it.
