1. imi, first of all, congratulations on being selected again. Could you please share with us the creative ideas behind "Pcute" and "PSweet," or if there's any connection between the two?
Thank you very much. When I was drawing this piece, the strongest idea was "to surpass Pcute." With this in mind, I hesitated until the last moment about what to design this time. Eventually, I decided to draw "chocolate and rabbits'' because I wanted to. Although "PSweet" lost to "Pcute" in the voting results, I still think "PSweet" itself is a very cute piece.

Additionally, the character setting for "Pcute" is an older sister, while the character setting for "PSweet" is a younger sister.

2. "Pcute" did receive a lot of support from friends. Did this positive reception have an impact on your creative mindset?
This had a very positive impact on me. I'm grateful that "Pcute" reached even more friends than I imagined. Many people told me, "Looking forward to your next piece," and these words became my motivation for creating.

I don't feel pressured by these words. "I'm just doing what I want to do," so I can continue doing what I want to do.

3. In a previous interview, you mentioned that you began creating in the third year of middle school. Were there any breaks in the process? Have there been any low points along the way? If so, how did you overcome them?
I've experienced periods of low points and temporary cessation of creativity. When I forgot the "joy of drawing," I would find myself in such a situation. During those times, it wasn't just about being satisfied with completing a drawing; rather, I sought praise from others for my artwork.

I enjoyed seeing others happy because of my drawings, so I would give my drawings as gifts to others, witnessing their joy. Alternatively, I would draw with children of relatives, and through these interactions, I rediscovered the "joy of drawing" and regained my motivation.

4. Winter 24 will be divided into different themes and styles. Will you continue to focus on the comic character style, or would you like to try different styles?
To be honest, I'd like to challenge myself with both character and other types of designs, but it seems like one person can't submit multiple entries (laughs). So, I might choose the character style. Since there will likely be new challengers joining as well, I look forward to competing with them. It's a rare opportunity, and I aim to win in the character design category for three consecutive times.

I have many ideas for designs as well, but those can wait until next time, maybe for the next Summer 25 to try them out.
 
5. Is there anything else you'd like to share with everyone?
I'm glad that "Pcute" and "PSweet" have been loved by many people. It's because of everyone's support that this could happen. In the future, I will continue to challenge various things. I would be very happy to receive everyone's attention and support.
