XE, NP-01S Wireless Button Issue Firmware Update

For VAXEE XE Wireless and ZYGEN NP-01S Wireless users, the XE (v4) 23.08.11 firmware and NP-01S (v2) 23.08.11 firmware were released on August 11, 2023. While these updates addressed the issue of intermittent signal transmission, some users have pointed out that in the new firmware version, when using semi-automatic rifles in games, if pressed the left button and released with insufficient speed, it can lead to unintentional firing of the 2nd or 3rd round of bullets. This behavior is due to the fact that this version of the firmware has a slightly longer delay after releasing the switch, intended to enhance stability during rapid consecutive presses. However, this might require users to adapt to the new firing rhythm.

We aimed to ensure that the new firmware addresses the problem without significantly altering users' accustomed behavior. Following adjustments, we have updated the firmware for XE Wireless and NP-01S Wireless users. The changes to the delay after releasing the switch have been aligned with users' habits. Other adjustments and settings remain unchanged. This firmware will also serve as the default firmware for future XE Wireless and NP-01S Wireless units, and it will be implemented across all units starting from late August.

Unless you have manually updated the firmware, the current versions in circulation are XE Wireless (V3) and NP-01S (V1). If you're unsure about the firmware version of your device after purchasing, please contact our customer service, and we will be happy to assist you.

ZYGEN NP-01S Wireless (v3) 23.08.22 Firmware Description:
  1. Resolves the issue of potential erroneous signal transmission from the buttons.
  2. Addresses the problem of unintentionally firing a second or third shot due to insufficiently fast release after pressing.
  3. Other functions and settings remain unchanged.
